The farm grows about 6,000 olive trees of different Tuscan types: Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Pendolino, ensuring a product that is wholly integrated with the Tuscan tradition. The olive groves are cultivated following the organic farming method in terrains which are naturally suitable for the cultivation of olives. The olives are hand picked during their best maturation moment, they are kept in small cases to ensure a good ventilation and within 24 hours after the harvest they are taken to the oil mill. The olive pressing takes place in a continuous cycle oil mill, ensuring a high hygiene, the absence of defects and above all the lack of oil oxidation; obtaining in this way an oil with a spicier taste, a higher polyphenol content, a bigger quantity of natural antioxidants, being more preservable. It has a clear and bright yellow green colour with golden nuances. Its fragrance is pleasant and complex, you can clearly smell the sensations recalling the fresh grass and the artichoke.

In the heart of Tuscany, at few km from Arezzo there is Il Palazzo (the Palace) a late medieval ancient village. Today the Palace is a farmhouse where the original medieval village structure has been preserved in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. It is at 380 meter of altitude, offering the possibility to enjoy Arezzo hills unpolluted peace. It has a happy isolated position, this is why it is called a "peaceful oasis" and, at the same time, it is also easy to reach the near cities: Arezzo, Florence, Siena, Perugia, Cortona, La Verna, Camaldoli, Montepulciano, Montalcino and to the major roads and the most important airports and railways stations. It is very close to Arezzo historical centre and also to the motorway A1 (at Arezzo exit). In few minutes you can reach the Business and Congress Centre at Via Spallanzani, at 4km), the European biggest, Equestrian Centre Jump Italy (near S. Zeno, at 10km), Arezzo railways station (at only 6km), and it is not far from the Golf Club Casentino (in Poppi, at 20km), from S. Giuseppino hospital (at 4km), or from Poggio del Sole hospital (6km), and if you wish to go shopping, you can easily reach: Prada outlet at 20km (in Levanella), The Mall Outlet where you can find the most renown labels, as Gucci, Tod´s, Armani, Burberry´s, Valentino, Sergio Rossi, Fendi, Hogan, La Perla, D&G etc. .. (it is at 35km, in Leccino, motorway direction Florence exit Incisa), do not forget the Village Valdichiana Outlet (it is at 20km from Arezzo) direction Rome exit Valdichiana. These kind of excursions and some other contacts allow the Palazzo to be the choice for any kinds of trip: business, fair, congress, cultural and sports; and again for shopping or to simply spend some relaxing days along the edge of our pool, overlooking the whole city of Arezzo.
The Palazzo farmhouse offers daily, weekly and monthly stays.
