DFE Classic white 2008 (#1959)
TASTING NOTES
Brilliant straw colour. White fruit, mineral and tropical notes predominate in the intense range of aromas. The wood derived from cask ageing is discreet and well combined, giving the wine excellent balance. The palate reveals good structure, elegance and harmony, with a long, complex finish. SERVING SUGGESTIONS A delightful choice as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to fish and seafood, salads, pasta and some white meats. The wine does not need decanting and should be opened shortly before drinking to enable it to breathe and develop to its best. Serve chilled between 11º C and 14º C, depending on when it is to be drunk. AGEING The wines that make up this DFE Classic WHITE 2008 were aged in French oak casks for approximately 6 months. Following numerous tastings and careful selection, the final blend was produced which, after clarifying, was bottled and aged in the bottle before being released for sale. This wine will retain its full quality for six years after the vintage provided it is stored on its side at a temperature between 12º C and 15º C.
