DFE Premium red 2007 (#1957)
TASTING NOTES:
Deep ruby colour with an intense, complex aroma dominated by ripe plum and blackcurrant notes. Toast and coffee aromas are added by ageing in wood. Full bodied, with balanced tannins and good acidity, DFE Premium 2007 has a long, persistent finish. These characteristics mean that the wine can be drunk now or following its development in the bottle, which is predicted to lend it great nobility. SERVING SUGGESTIONS: This is an intense, elegant wine and the perfect accompaniment for red meats, large game and strong cheeses. To enable it to develop fully it should be opened 1-2 hours before serving. Ideal serving temperature 17º. STORAGE CONDITIONS: The bottle should be stored on its side in a dry, cool place away from light.
