Generous as well as elegant and with marvellous ageing potential, the wines of Ch$BcU(Beau MANGOT reveal a new facet of their rich, subtle personality each year.

Vineyard & Land
Ch$BcU(Beau MANGOT has a vineyard with a surface area of 37 hectares (90 acres) in a single stretch, 34 hectares (83 acres) of which are in production. Set on the eastern hillsides of the Saint Emilion appellation, in the village of Saint Etienne De Lisse, these superb, south-facing slopes benefit from ideal sunshine.

Grape varieties
85% Merlot $B!&(B9% Cabernet Franc $B!&(B6% Cabernet Sauvignon

5,500 vines/hectare $B!&(BAverage yield 38 Hl / hectare - Grass cover - "Guyot simple" & "Guyot double" pruning - Bud-removal - Green harvesting - Leaf-stripping. Pest-control using sustainable farming methods.

Vinification $B!&(BMaturing
Plot-by-plot vinification to achieve the best overall balance: soils - varieties - maturing. Harvesting at perfect ripeness $B!&(BSorting on tables - De-stemming. Long, gentle vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Maturing in separate batches for 14 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which are new each year.
Bottled at the Ch$BcU(Beau.
