Light and delightful with all the Pinot Noir characteristics of strawberries and cherries. This sparkling is not just a celebration wine. Try it with duck, lamb, quail and rabbit stew. Wonderful as a pre-dinner drink too. This wine had over 12 months on lees.

Gisborne Peak Winery was founded by Bob and Barbara Nixon. Bob planted the first vines in 1978 as a hobby - it's now a 'hobby gone mad', giving both Bob and Barb, and their visitors, enormous satisfaction, fun and lifestyle.
The cellar door was open in October 2001 and has gone from strength to strength. A recent addition, The Fireside Room, has added plenty of warm, indoor seating with a warming fire. In summer this room opens up to a veranda style with cafe blinds.
