Enjoy the vineyard with us
We are currently creating Rent A Vine. It’s an opportunity for everyone to become involved and enjoy the vineyard, its wines and wine related activities. We’re planning to launch in summer 2010, please contact us form more information - You can register your interest and be kept up to date with the latest developments by signing up for the newsletter.

Coming Soon
Invites to Wine Events
We’ll be inviting lease holders to wine events, with informative talks from wine experts, be it the growers, makers or drinkers, which of course will include plenty of opportunities to drink some splendid wines. We’ll have more relaxing events too. We think the lone oak that stands over our vineyard would be a great place to set up a few chairs and tables and have a wine tasting picnic. During the long summer evenings we’ll be tasting wine by the vines and enjoying the gentle beauty of the growing grapes. It’ll be a chance for our members to meet, make friends and chat about wines and vines and drink a few glasses of refreshing vino, while enjoying a few light bites cooked on the BBQ and perhaps playing a few games. We’re going to make these Kent Vineyard Wine & Vine events really excellent fun.

Your Own Grapevine at the Kent Vineyard
But you wouldn’t be truly involved in our vineyard if you didn’t have a stake in it, so we’re going to offer you a chance to lease your own vine as part of your membership. You can choose either Schönburger, Bacchus or Seyval Blanc and you’ll get a certificate that says it’s yours for the year, regular photos and updates, a cutting from your vine when it starts to grow with full instructions on how to grow it into your own personal grapevine and the chance to come to the vineyard and prune it yourself (although we can do this for you if you wish).

2 for 1 Meal Deals at Artisan&Vine
There’s a very special restaurant and wine bar in Battersea called Artisan&Vine, it’s one of those places where they’ve got it just right, excellent food served in a charming atmosphere where wine is celebrated and people feel relaxed while they enjoy themselves in the splendid ambience.. Artisan&Vine only serves only local and natural wines, it’s a admirable commitment that we liked, so we asked them to be part of our vine lease and they agreed, giving those with a vine lease the opportunity to have a free meal in the restaurant, when they eat with someone else (2 for1).

Getting Social with Wine
So essentially, the Kent Vineyard Vine Lease is a chance to engage with the growing English wine community, to learn how it works, to meet the people involved in it and to learn how to make your own wine from your own grapes; and to drink lots of fantastic wines. For just a small annual fee, which we’ll ensure is offset by the value of the special deals we create, you’ll become involved in every part of the wine making process; from growing grapes to fermentation to tasting.

Register Your Interest
We’re planning to launch in spring 2010 and it will help a great deal if we already have an indication of your interest, so please submit your email address to us if you think you would like to be involved. Simply register for our newsletter, it’s not a commitment, and we definitely will not pass your contact details to anyone else, we just want you to let us know you may be interested. Also feel free to comment with any ideas and suggestions or spread the word of our plan – pass it along the grapevine so to speak.
