La Vinícola del Priorat was founded in 1991 to group together the production of small co-operatives fruit de la the need to renovate the technological processes of obtaining the wine and olive oil.

Our wine with a qualified appellation is characterised, on one hand, by the market control del minifundisme of Priorat and, on the other, to reduce the production of each vine to around a kilo of grapes. The steep slopes of the farmland of more than 30%, the slate soil (with fragments of slate) together with the age of our vines (the majority of which are about 60 years old) are features of Priorat due to the tortuous geography of the area.
This, together with environmental factors, enables us to consistently produce wine of an exceptional quality with international prestige, year after year.
