Barkan Grand classic 2007 is a blend originating from vineyards at the Upper Galilee and the Golan Heights; regular components in Barkan's varietal Reserve wines, so this wine is firmly based on top quality fruit.
Sophisticated winemaking has created a fruity wine, rich with spicy, warm fruit, yet quite young in character, with a fine frame of elegant oak aromas. The wine is medium-bodied, with smooth, round tannins and a soft mouth-feel. This is a complete and elegant wine, drinking well now and in the coming years.

A Vineyard was to Solomon the King, and as the love in the Song of Songs, our love started in a vineyard. Our love is a devotion to wine, to premium wines from the finest grapes we can grow, that our vineyard can give.

To fulfill our love, we invest all our effort and soul from the beginning, from choosing the site for the vineyard, planning its rows, the choice of vines, the direction the light will fall. We plant with love, train the young vines and bring them to their first harvest: pruning, trellising, watching for signs of illness, watering and waiting. We harvest, we crush the fruit, ferment the wine, press it, age it, blend it and bring it to the bottle with all the care and devotion that we have, in order that the bottle you open will be the best we can give.
