This was to became a place to drink, to rest and to meditate for the thousand of pelgrims that passed to reach the city to Rome via San Gimignano. The Tenuta Torciano Location, near "Magione di Torri" brought trade and economic development to the Giachi Family through sales of WINE, CHIANTI, VERNACCIA DI SAN GIMIGNANO, RED and WHITE TABLE WINE, and OLIVE OIL. Bartolomeo passed down the ART AND PASSION OF WINE MAKING to his son Gaetano, who then passed it down to his son Angiolo and successively to Alfredo, Romano and Pierluigi Giachi. The contact to the pilgrim and priests that passed San Gimignano every day heavily influenced the religius attitude of the Bartolomeo's niece, Veronica Giachi, who entered in the Convent of Cappuccine Nuns of Siena, and after some years Veronica became MATHER SUPERIOR.
