Lemnio 100%.
Bold enough to produce this one varietal wine only from Limnio grapes. Limnio is an ancient greek variety that is usually used in blends until today because it is quite difficult to manage it all alone. We chose to bottle Limnio by itself, just to prove the opposite! So, it rewards us with a red-purple medium-bodied wine with intense bouquet of sour cherry, spice (cinnamon, cloves) and a touch of dried apricot lying on an oak background. The palate is soft and full with fine, ripe, elegant tanins that support a long finish.
Aged for 12 months in French oak and bottled unfiltered, this wine will reward cellaring for up to 8 years.
The privately owned 7.7 ha vineyard is planted on the hills of the Maroneia region nearby the Thracian Sea. The varieties planted are: Chardonnay, Malagouzia, Lemnio, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese. Vineyard cultivation is assured by the agronomists Apostolos Tassou and Vasileios Tassou.

Kikones Rosé Dear Milena,
Last weekend we found the perfect weather to enjoy your Kikones rose.
As stated on your website:
Lemnio 60%; Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Dry Rose
A blend of the ancient Greek variety Lemnio, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Intense orange-pink colour, orange-red hues. A trully remarkable Rose with fruity aromas of blueberries, raspberries and pomegranate. Strong fresh red fruit characteristics on the palate with soft oiliness followed by the sweetness of alcohol. Lingering finish.
It was a perfect drink, we took our time to slowly drink it and we really, really enjoyed the fresh fruity aroma's!
Thanks, Marcel&Ceri
