Corporate and Private Tastings – London - Sarah Ahmed

Great for team-building or an informal get-together with colleagues, friends and clients, tastings provide an opportunity to learn more about wine and have some fun along the way! Tastings are tailored to your brief and can cover:

  • An introduction to wine-tasting
  • Advanced tasting skills
  • “Blind” tastings
  • Themed tastings
  • Wine games and quizzes

Typically, a wine tasting lasts for about 2-3 hours but it really depends on your brief – it can be shorter or longer. It can be delivered at any time of the day, although for obvious reasons evenings are more popular!

    Champagne Wine Trail - France

The vineyards of the Champagne region start less than 200 kilometres north-east of Paris, which (if you're in Paris already) makes them a good place to go to for a weekend stay, or even just for the day.

You'll explore a region full of charm, visit the magnificent cathedral in Reims and meet some of the producers of the world-famous wine that we call champagne...
Champagne is a wine which is famed throughout the world: with its 34,000 hectares given over to vines the Champagne region produces 10% of all French wines, but provides a quarter of all exports of the precious liquid. Often associated with prestigious marques (such as Veuve Clicquot, Moët et Chandon, Ruinart, Krug, Pommery, Dom Pérignon and a host of others…) it has for many years been an integral part of celebrations, weddings, baptisms and banquets.

Olifants River Winery Trail – Stoumanns Wines – South Africa

When Stoffel Stoumann accompanied his father into the district when he was yet a little boy, he surely did not imagine what would be accomplished near the little town of Vredendal on the West Coast of South Africa by himself, his wife Gesie and their two sons, Napoleon and Gielie.

Harvests, consisting of Colombar, Chenin blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet, Shiraz, etc., were delivered in its entirety to Spruitdrift and Vredendal Wine Cellars, until the Stoumanns established the smallest registered red wine cellar in the Olifants River region. They started marketing their first 2 800 bottles of Cabernet in September of 1998. It was decided later, as duties concerning the winery became extensive, that Napoleon would be responsible for wine making, while the properties would be managed by Gielie. (in memoriam)
