Maremma Wine and Company was created from an idea of Simona Bellanova.
Simona who has a Degree in Economic and Bank Science, after some years of experience in import-export companies, decided to turn her passion for wine into a job opportunity.

In 2003 Simona got a Master in "Management and Marketing of wine companies" organized by the University of Florence.

It was a very important experience for her career, as she obtained to become “employed” in the wine field, in a territory where wine production is so important like Tuscany.

After successfully completing the Master, she first began to work for a wine producer in the Chianti area and then she worked for another in the Brunello di Montalcino area, the rich cousin of wines from Maremma; in both cases she took care of the companies marketing office.

But she has always dreamt to spend her profession, passion and experience in her territorial birth place: Maremma.
She created Maremma Wine and Company with the aim of spreading the culture of gourmet and tourism in this territory, which has nothing to envy to other more "famous" for quality and reception.
