In recent years Mallorca has been gaining a reputation as a quality wine-producing region with dozens of well-established wineries. In this week we will take you to tastings at four of the leading wineries on the island, where you will also learn about the different varieties and processes.

Each excursion will include lunch in a local restaurant, where you can sample typical Mallorcan dishes (Sopas Mallorquinas, Frito Mallorquin, Tumbet), as well as visits to local points of interest.

The cooking at La SerranÌa will also feature a variety of locally-made products (Sobrasada, Botifarrones, Queso Mallorquin, Oli de Mallorca, Ensaimada) and there will be a special emphasis on the cooking of Spain.

On the days when we do not visit a winery, we will be offering hands-on cooking demonstrations and guided walks in the local countryside. Or you can just relax and enjoy the peacefulness of La SerranÌa.
