Kitchen confidence Nicki and I attended a lunch course at Le Calabash and learned a whole bunch of new stuff from top bananas Sidney & Alison. So much so, we are now planning to be regulars at the cookery school, not only to enjoy the experience and company but to learn about things we had never before considered. Just from our one day course we gained so much, it made me in particular, much more confident in the kitchen, as I am writing this I am remembering the lunch..... hmmn I think I will do lamb a la Sidney this evening...

A 'Sweet' day to remember My wife and I recently attended a one day pastry course at Le Calabash which was given to us by one of our children as a Christmas present. We are both keen amateur cooks and were not to sure what to expect. From the moment we arrived we felt at home and were exceptionally taken care of. The course was something out of this world; we learnt so much and had a fun day, also making new friends. Alison and Sidney are great hosts and we are planning our next course in the summer and ‘we can’t wait’
